  1. Is it must to produce original offer of appointment letter in case of technical resignation when appointment letter is sent to permanent address while employee is working in other city which is more than 2000 Kms from permanent address and only 7 days are remaining to report to new employer? can a scanned copy or Xerox copy not do?(if the employee has already informed the current employer long time ago).

  2. Respected sir,

I have gone through the Draft OM and observed that it is silent about
counting of previous service on the same post for the purpose of
counting of minimum length of service required for the promotion
whereas almost all Recruitment Rules speaks about the ‘minimum regular
service on the post’. Hence the following may be inserted in the OM-

“2.11 Counting of past service rendered on same post for Promotion
purposes – In cases of appointment of a Government servant to the same
post in the same Department/ another department in Government after
acceptance of Technical Resignation, the service rendered prior to
technical resignation on the same post is to be taken in consideration
for the promotion to meet the minimum length of regular service on the
post for the promotion in the next higher post but the service
rendered prior to technical resignation shall not be considered for
the seniority in the current post”
