CGHS beneficiaries getting medicines for Chronic diseases shall be permitted to purchase medicines based on the prescription held (prescribed by CGHS Medical Officers/CGHS Specialists /other Govt. Specialists/ Specialist of empanelled hospital) till 30th April, 2022
As per CGHS guidelines, the empanelled HCO shall obtain the self attested copy of prescription letter and CGHS card of the patient & main card holder and can’t ask the beneficiary to submit the original prescription letter and CGHS card
