Bank Employees to Go On Strike on 12th November 2014
The Conciliation meeting for wage Revision of Bank Employees held before the Chief Labour Commissioner today.
Shri. C H Venkatachalam, General Secretary, All India Bank Employees Association (AIBEA) told that the Meeting ended in a deadlock so unions would go on with their strike call
According to Shri. M V Murali , the Convener of United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU) “In negotiations held today, Indian Banks’ Association (IBA) stuck to its earlier stand of 11 per cent (wage hike) despite unions scaling down their demand to 23 per cent. Consequently, the conciliation ended in failure,”
The UFBU is an umbrella organisation of nine bank employee and officer unions. Some of these Unions have updated the latest position of Talks and about their Strike Call in their websites. The following are Flash News of some Unions

In the negotiations held today (10.11.2014) IBA stuck to their earlier stand of 11% despite the flexibility of UFBU in scaling down the demand to 23%.
Consequently the conciliation also ended in stalemate.
Hence Strike on 12th November and relay strike in December stands.
