A Committee To examine the Disciplinary/Vigilance Proceedings

A Committee of experts has been appointed to examine and suggest measures to expedite the process involved in Disciplinary/vigilance proceedings.The Committee To examine the Disciplinary/Vigilance Proceedings will be headed by Sri.Shri P.C. Hota, former Chairman, UPSC.,The order issued by DOP&T on 12-5-2010,is reproduced below.

It has been decided to set up a Committee of Experts to examine and suggest measures to expedite the process involved in Disciplinary/ Vigilance Proceedings. The composition of the Committee shall be as under:-

(1) Shri P.C. Hota, former Chairman, UPSC – Chairman
(2) Shri Arvind Verma, former Secretary(Personnel) – Member
(3) Shri P. Shankar.Former Central Vigilance Commissioner- Member

The Committee shall submit its recommendation within a period of two months, The Vigilance Division of DOPT shall render all the required secretarial assistance the Committee.
