The employees of Puducherry-based medical college, JIPMER, may get more time to decide whether they want to remain with the autonomous institute or opt out of it and continue with the Central Government.
The Bill to amend the existing Act to offer two-and-a-half years to employees for fresh option instead of earlier one year, was introduced in Rajya Sabha by Minister of State for Health Dinesh Trivedi.
