Order for Productivity Linked Bonus to Railway Employees expected by this week

It is expected that,by this week, the Union Cabinet will give its approval for payment of Productivity Linked Bonus (PLB) to the Railway employees.

Sources close to the railway board told that It will be equivalent to 77 days wages to the eligible non-gazetted railway employees for the financial year 2009-2010. This will be the highest productivity-linked bonus ever been made to the Railway employees.
