AIMT begins training of judicial officers

Army Institute of Management and Technology (AIMT) today began training of the first batch of 30 judicial officers at its campus in Greater Noida.

The six day-long training program is tailor made for effective management of courts and has been designed in consultation with the judicial officers.
The batch consists mostly of civil judges and additional judges including registrars selected from courts in Uttar Pradesh.
“AIMT would train over 1,000 judicial officers in next two years. Court management is a new subject of study and so far not much of written material is available on this topic.
The training is planned keeping in mind the functioning of courts,” an army official said.
The program was inaugurated by Advocate General of Nagaland K N Balgopal in presence of senior judicial officers from UP.
