Finance Ministry published the Cabinet decisions on Report on 7th CPC implementation

As the latest development, Ministry of Finance has published the report of Cabinet decision on implementation of 7th Pay Commission. Already the PIB published the  same report in its website yesterday.

Today the report has been republished by Finance Ministry in its website www.finmin.nic.in.

As per the report, the 7th CPC recommendations will be implemented with effect from 1.1.2016 . The Cabinet has also decided that arrears of pay and pensionary benefits will be paid during the current financial year (2016-17) itself, unlike in the past when parts of arrears were paid in the next financial year.
