Sub: Implementation of Govt. decision on the recommendation of the 7th CPC-Revision of Disability/ War Injury pension for pre-01.01.2016 Defence Forces pensioners.

Please refer Govt. of India, Ministry’ of Defence Letter No. 17(01)2016-D(Pen/Pol) dated 29.10.2016 [ See the Letter]  & 17(01)/2017(01)/D[Pension/Policy] dated 04.09.2017 [ See the Letter ]issued for revision of pension of pre-2016 Defence pension/family pension. The said orders have been circulated to all PDAs with necessary implementation instructions vide PCDA (p) Allahabad circular No. 570 dated 31.10.2016 [Click to Read ]and circular No. 582 dated 05.9.2017 [Click Here to Read ]

2.Now, Ministry of Defence vide their Letter No.17 (01)/2017/D (Pen/Policy) dated 23.01.2018 [ See the Letter] have issued instructions for allowing broad banding and additional pension on disability element revised from 01.01.2016 with multiplication factor of 2.57 to pre-2016 Defence pensioners.

3. Copy of above order is available on the website of MOD, DESW. The same may please be downloaded for circulation along with necessary implementation instructions, to all the pension disbursing agencies on priority. The Govt. order together with its implementation instructions may also be uploaded on PCDA (p) website for easy accessibility for all concerned.
