Reforming Pension Timelines : Restoration of the Commuted Portion of Pension after 12 years instead of 15 years – Now DoPT Referred this to DoPPW

The Pensioners Associations have been consistently corresponding with the Government of India, urging for the restoration of the commuted portion of pension after 12 years instead of 15 years. Recently, the Employees Federations have also joined in the demand for full pension restoration after 12 years.

A formal representation regarding this matter has been forwarded to the Department of Pension and Pensioner Welfare by DoPT for their prompt attention and action.
