Notional increment to All India Services officers who Retire on 30th June or 31st December for calculation of pensionary benefits – DoPT New Instructions

The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) has issued new instructions regarding the granting of a notional increment to All India Services officers. According to these guidelines, officers who retire on 30th June or 31st December will be eligible to receive a notional increment effective from July 1 or January 1, respectively.

OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject:- Grant of notional increment on 1st July/1st January to All India Services officers who retire on 30th June/31st December respectively for the purpose of calculation of pensionary benefits.

I am directed to say that in reference to the above-mentioned subject, action may be taken in the matter of grant of notional increment to All India Services officer as per the instructions provided in this Department’s Office Memorandum No.19/116/2024-Pers.Pol.(Pay)(Pt) dated 14.10.2024 (copy enclosed).
