Sub: Revision of monetary ceiling for reimbursement of briefcase office bag/ ladies purse etc.

Sir.

I am directed to refer to your office letter No. GM(PA&F)/GS/Bag Reimbursement/2024 25/D-244 dated 24.10.2024 on the subject mentioned above and to clarify that all the Gazetted officers of Department of Posts and officials in the grade pay of Rs 4600, i.e., equivalent to inspector of Posts, who are having touring nature of duties, are only eligible tor the reimbursement of the briefcase/office bag/ladies purse. The pre-requisite oi touring nature of duties, is not applicable to Gazetted officers.

This issues with the approval of the competent authority.
