Naval Headquarters has directed all Units to gather and submit inputs for the VIII Central Pay Commission (CPC) recommendations.

VIII Central Pay Commission (CPC) Recommendations

The Government of India has announced the constitution of the 8th Central Pay Commission (CPC) to review and recommend salary structures for central government employees, including naval civilians. In response, the Naval Headquarters (NHQ) has issued detailed instructions to all naval commands to ensure a structured and timely submission of recommendations.

Key Directives:

  • Commands must gather inputs from all Units, Unions, Federations, and Associations under their jurisdiction.
  • Recommendations should be collated, vetted, analyzed, and discussed before submission.
  • A Board of Officers (BOO) will be formed at each command to oversee the process.
  • The final consolidated proposal must be submitted by 15 May 2025.
  • Commands should ensure widespread participation of naval civilians to generate inclusive and effective recommendations.
  • This proactive approach aims to streamline the CPC submission process and ensure that naval civilian employees’ interests are well-represented in the upcoming pay revisions.

Stay tuned for further updates as the 8th CPC team composition and formal notification are announced.
