7th CPC Pay Matrix Level 1 to 5 Official

All 5 Grade Pays in Pay Band 1 in Sixth CPC has been replaced by 7th CPC Pay matrix Level 1 to 5 in 7th Pay Commission

7th CPC had recommended Pay Matrix for Central Government Employees instead of Running Pay band and Grade Pay System. The same has been accepted and the Pay matrix System is implemented with effect from 1.1.2016 for CG Staffs. Here we provided the Pay Matrix Table for Grade Pay 1 to 5 in Pay Band 1

7th CPC Pay Matrix Level 1 to 5

Pay matrix Level 1 Posts in central Government

The erstwhile Group D posts carry the pay of Level 1 in Pay matrix. Previous Pay commission fixed Grade pay Rs.1800 for this Posts.

The Posts Semiskilled in Industrial Establishment in Railways and Defence has been fixed in Level 1 pay matrix

Labourer Posts like MTS and Peon Mali also carry the pay level 1 in 7^th CPC pay matrix

Level 1 pay matrix starts with Rs.18000 at first cell and ends with Rs.56900 at 40^th Cell

The next Cell in the Level represents annual increment of the government servants appointed in that Level of Posts. Every cell added with 3% increase in the previous cells. The Level 1 in Pay Matrix is as follows

Pay matrix Level 2 Posts in Central Government

The Posts carry the Pay Level 1,2,3.4 and 5 in 7^th CPC Pay Matrix are categorised as Group C Posts in central Government.

The Level 2 Posts are Generally Lower division Clerk, Typist, Storekeeper and similar posts in Ministries and Departments of Central Government

The Skilled Grade in Industrial Establishments are granted Pay Level 2 in 7^th CPC Pay Matrix

The Level 2 consists 40 Cells. It starts with Rs. 19900 at 1^st Cell and ends with Rs.63200 at 40^th Cell.

7th CPC Pay Matrix Table (Revised) For Central Government Employees

Central Government issued order for revision of Pay Scale in 7th CPC Pay matrix Table for Central Government Employees on 25.7.2016. Later the 7th Pay Matrix has been revised with some modification in Level 13

Ministry of Finance has issued Revised 7th CPC Pay Matrix for Central Government Employees vide its OM dated 16th May 2017 with some modification in Level 13.

Because Index of Rationalisation (IOR ) 2.67 was used to fix the Pay matrix Levels 10 to 13A . But the Level 13 is calculated with IOR 2.57. hence it has been revised.

Revised 7th CPC Pay Matrix for Central Government Employees

The IOR of Level-13 of Civil Pay Matrix has to be enhanced from 2.57 to 2.67. Accordingly, the Civil Pay Matrix as contained in Annexure-1 mentioned in para 6 of the aforesaid Resolution dated the 25th July, 2016 shall be revised.
