PM congratulates DRDO scientists and technical personnel on Agni test launch success

The Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh has congratulated DRDO scientists and technical personnel for the successful test launch of Agni-V. The Prime Minister in his message said the nation stands together in honouring our scientific community who have done our country proud. Dr. Manmohan Singh called the DRDO Director Dr. Saraswat to personally congratulate him and the DRDO team.

The text of the Prime Minister’s message is as follows:

“I congratulate all the scientific and technical personnel of the DRDO and other organizations who have worked tirelessly in our endeavour to strengthen the defence and security of our country. Today’s successful Agni-V test launch is another milestone in our quest to add to the credibility of our security and preparedness and to continuously explore the frontiers of science. The entire nation stands together in honouring the achievements of our scientific community who have done the country proud.”
