Clarification on Time Duration of Practical Examinations

Subject: Clarification regarding time duration of practical examinations.

Madam/Sir,

This is in continuation of guidelines dated 24/02/2022 for the conduct of practical examinations.

It has come to the notice of the Board that in Term-Il practical examinations, in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology etc. two practicals are to be performed in 172 hours duration.

It is clarified that the time period for the conduct of two practicals in Term-II examinations is 03 hours.

Also, all schools are directed to relieve their teachers as per the date fixed by other schools for the conduct of practical examinations. Non-relieving of teachers would be viewed seriously.

This is for information and necessary action.
