Subject:- Use of Unique Disability Identity (UDID) Card as disability verification/ identification document for authentication of ECHS beneficiary with disability and for preparation of White Card under ECHS – reg.

Sir,

I am directed to convey the sanction of the Government for acceptance of Unique Disability Identity (UDID) card also as disability verification / identification document for authentication of ECHS beneficiary with Disability under PWD Act 2016 and preparation of White Card.

2. The instructions will be implemented from the date of issue of this letter.

3. This issues with the concurrence of MoD (Finance /Pension) vide their Note No. 32(08)/2022/Fin/Pen dated 10.05.2022.
