January 2024 DA Calculator

The average of 12 Months AICPIN from January 2023 is a main factor which determines the exact rate of Dearness allowance from January 2024. So after release of CPI Index every month, the January 2024 DA Calculator will tell you the approximate increase in the rate of DA.

      

It is expected that the DA rate from January 2024 may touch 50% Level. In that case , the Allowance like HRA, CEA will also be increased.

HRA and DA increase when DA reaches 50%

The HRA will be increased to 30%,20% and 10% from 27%, 18% and 9% when DA reaches 50% level : See the Order

As per the CEA order issued by DoPT, the rate of Children Education Allowance would be automatically raised by 25% every time the Dearness Allowance goes upto 50%. So the the rate of HRA per Annum will be increased to Rs. 33750 from existing Rs.27000

Calculator for DA from January 2024 – Does it go 50% Level ?

The expected DA from July 2023 may be 46%. According to the pattern of increase in the consumer price index for Industrial workers from January 2023, it appears that DA from January 2024 will go up to 50 % Level.
