All the Central government employees are in confused state of mind some times before the recommendation of 7th pay commission submitted to the Government.

Because the rumour on retirement age of central government employees was doing the rounds in social media and news media. There was an uncertainty in the mind of majority of central government employees regarding the retirement whether it will be brought down or increased to 62.

7th pay commission has put an end to this rumour mill and didn’t recommend any thing about  superannuation .
