Liaison officers Meeting to review the status of Special Recruitment Drives
Department of Personnel and Training (DOP&T) has launched a Special Recruitment Drive for filling up backlog vacancies reserved for SCs/STs/OBCs on 19.11.2008. Another Special Recruitment Drive for filling up backlog vacancies reserved for persons with disabilities was launched on 27.1 1.2009
To’review the status of Special Recruitment Drives, a meeting of the Liaison Officers for the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes and Persons with Disabilities of the Ministries/ Departments will be held under the Chairmanship of Shri Rajeev Kapoor, Joint Secretary, Department of Personnel & Training from 4 .00 P M to 5.00 PM on Wednesday; August 18, 2010 in Room No 190, 1st floor, North Block. New Delhi
All the Liaison Officer of the Ministries/Departments are directed to attend the meeting with the latest position of filling up of the backlog reserved vacancies under the Ministry/Department (including the attached/subordinate/PSUs/Autonomous Bodies etc.) through the Special Recruitment Drive for SCs, STs and OBCs launched in November, 2008 and the Special Recruitment Drive for Persons with Disabilities launched in November, 2009
