Last Date for LTC  by Air to Visit NER and Jammu Kashmir

The Relaxation of LTC by Air to visit North Eastern Region (NER) and Jammu Kashmir  had been extended for further two years to all the central government employees with effect from 1st May 2012 and 18th June 2012 respectively. Accordingly the last date for this relaxation for NER and Jammu Kashmir ends  on 30-4-2014 and 17-6-2014

LAST DATE FOR AVAILING LTC BY AIR TO VISIT NER

According to the Office memorandum No.F.No.31011/4/2007-Estt.(A) Dated 30th April 2012 the relaxation for travel by Air to visit NER ends on 30th April 2014. The commencement of outward journey for availing the LTC to visit NER should be on or before 30th April 2014.

LAST DATE FOR AVAILING LTC BY AIR TO JAMMU KASHMIR  

As per OM F.No.31011/2/2003-Estt.A-IV Dated 15th June 2012, The last date for availing this relaxation for travel by Air to visit Jammu and Kashmir is 17/6/2014. The last date for commencement of outward journey of LTC by Air to visit  Jammu and Kashmir  is 17th June 2014

The Government servants those who are not availed LTC of any kind for the block of 2010-2013, are still having the chance to avail this relaxation as the grace period exists up to 31.12.2014 for LTC block year of 2010-2013.

Some agencies said this facility may be extended to Himachal Pradesh and Andaman and Nicobar Island. But it is not confirmed. More over there is no any word from government whether this existing relaxation will be extended or not.
