Great News! 8th Pay Commission in the Works – Staff Side JCM Invited for Suggestions on ToRs
The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) has initiated the process for setting up the 8th Central Pay Commission (CPC), marking a significant development for central government employees. In its letter dated January 23, 2024, addressed to the Secretary of the Staff Side, National Council JCM, the DoPT stated:
“As you are aware, it has been decided to set up the 8th Central Pay Commission (CPC). The Terms of Reference (ToRs) of the 8th CPC are now to be finalized. It is therefore requested that suggestions of the Staff Side in this regard may please be sent to the undersigned at the earliest.”
