7th Pay Commission Arrears after the Notification issued

It is Expected that the implementation of 7th Pay Commission recommendation will be notified in the month of July 2016 after it gets cabinet Approval.

In that case, the 7th CPC revised salary for the Month of July will be paid on 1st August 2016 for central government employees.

Since it will be implemented with effect from 1st January 2016, the Pay Revision has to be done from 1st January 2016. Subsequently the salary paid already for the six months from January to June have to be revised as per the 7th Pay commission recommendations. So the difference between paid and revised salary would be paid as arrears.
