About 10 years back, the Apex court, had given a verdict, that no employee, who served more than 20 years, should be terminated from service, on any disciplanary grounds, but can be compulsorily retired, so that the final benefits will be available to his members of his family. This verdict was given by Supreme court, on the petition of some employee near Delhi. Can I have the case no./judgement no and date, so that I can quote the no. and get remedy, to an employee, who was terminated, for unauthorised absense, wihout any final benefits.
