Dear Sir

We refer to our letter of even No.NC/JCM/2016 dated September 6, 2016 wherein we have requested for an amendment to the existing formula of DA computation, necessitated by the revision of Pay with effect from 01.01.2016. We hope that you must have caused the matter to be examined.

We are prepared to call on the officer concerned, if there is any ambiguity in our contention. Since the normal date for issuance of DA order was in September, we shall he grateful if a decision in the matter is taken urgently.

Thanking you,

Yours faithfully,

  1. Will someone inform me the calculation/methodology that was used to revise 5th CPC pension to 6th CPC pension

  2. Pensioners should also get HRA like serving employees. Serving employees and pensioners get DA and DR respectively to compensate for inflation. Likewise when serving employees get HRA to meet their housing needs, pensioners also should get HRA

  3. Pensioners should also get HRA. Serving employees are granted DA to compensate for inflation. Similarly Pensioners were granted Dearness relief for the same purpose. If serving employees are granted HRA to meet their housing needs, why pensioners should get for the same purpose as the serving employees
