Age Cutoff for Class I Admission in KV

The Age of child seeking Class I Admission in KV should be minimum 5 and maximum 7 years. The allowed range of date of birth of a child seeking admission for the academic year 2019-20 is: 1.04.2012 to 1.04.2014 for applications not in the “Differently Abled” category. What is the age cut off for a child applying to grade-1?

The minimum age for admission to Std 1 is 5 years and the maximum admissible age is 7 years as on 01/04/2019, with a 2 year relaxation in upper age limit for “Differently-Abled” candidates.

Thus, the allowed range of date of birth of a child seeking admission is: 1.04.2012 to 1.04.2014 for applications not in the “Differently Abled” category. The allowed range of date of birth of a child seeking admission in the “Differently Abled” category is 1.04.2010 to 1.04.2014. If the entered date of birth does not live in above mentioned range, sign up/registration will not be allowed.”
