State Govt should follow the Coronavirus preventive measures

The Secretary, DoPT has requested all the State government to follow its Instructions regarding Preventive measures to be taken to contain the spread of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Dr. C. Chandramouli, Secretary to DOPT wrote a DO Letter to all the Chief Secretaries of States and Administrator of Union Territories to apprise them of the preventive measures taken by Central Government Offices to contain the spread of Noval Coronavirus

Further he requested the states to follow the DoPT Instructions issued by the Central Government regarding certain preventive measures to be taken in the light of the spread of COVID 19.

He also asked to take measures as appropriate, as this outbreak has been declared a global pandemic, it would be in public interest if similar measures are taken by State Governments and Union Territories.
