Release of 3 DA instalments dues w.e.f 1.7.2021 : Union cabinet met today and decided to release the DA dues of 1st January 2020,1st July 2020 and 1st January 2021 with effect from 1.7.2021.

So the central Government decided to increase the total DA to 28% and it will be paid to Central Government Employees with effect from 1.7.2021.
At present Dearness Allowance at the rate of 17% is paid to all Central Government employees and Dearness Relief to Central Government Pensioners. Now it is increased to 28% with effect from 1.7.2021. Due to this decision 48 Lakh Central Govt employees and 65 Lakh Pensioners will be benefited.
The DA due for July 2021 will be announced later.
The order for payment of these three DA instalments will be issued by Ministry of Finance soon.
