Support Our Soldiers: Donate to the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund Minimum of Rs.200

Appeal of Department of Ex-Serviceman Welfare to Donate to the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund minimum of Rs.200

Honouring Our Brave Soldiers

Every year on the 7th of December, we come together to observe the Armed Forces Flag Day (AFFD) and pay tribute to our brave soldiers who have fought valiantly to protect our nation. This day is a reminder of the sacrifices they have made and the hardships they have endured. It is a day to show our gratitude and support for their unwavering dedication.

The AFFD is not just a day of remembrance, but also a day of action. On this day, we have the opportunity to contribute to the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund (AFFDF) to ensure the welfare and rehabilitation of our war-widows, dependents of battle casualties, and ex-servicemen. By donating a minimum of Rs. 200/- to the AFFDF, we can make a difference in the lives of those who have served and protected our country.

Supporting War-Widows and Dependants

One of the primary purposes of the AFFDF is to provide financial support and assistance to the war-widows and dependents of our fallen heroes. These brave individuals have lost their loved ones in the line of duty, and it is our responsibility to ensure that they are taken care of. The funds collected on the Armed Forces Flag Day play a crucial role in providing them with the necessary resources and support to rebuild their lives.

By donating to the AFFDF, we can contribute towards education, healthcare, housing, and overall well-being of the war-widows and their dependents. We can help alleviate their financial burden and ensure that they receive the support they need to lead a dignified life.

Empowering Ex-Servicemen

In addition to supporting war-widows and dependents, the AFFDF also focuses on the welfare and rehabilitation of ex-servicemen, including the disabled. Our veterans have selflessly dedicated their lives to the service of our nation, and it is our duty to honor their sacrifices by ensuring their well-being after they retire from active duty.

With the funds collected on the Armed Forces Flag Day, we can provide employment opportunities, vocational training, and healthcare facilities to our ex-servicemen. We can empower them to lead independent and fulfilling lives, even after their time in the armed forces has come to an end.
