Sub.: Selections/LDCEs held for Promotions to Group ‘B’ posts on Indian Railways – Introduction of 100% Objective type Multiple Choice Questions.
Ref.: Board’s letter no.E(GP)2022/2/4 dated 28.10.2022, 7.11.2022 & 11.11.2022.

In supersession of this office letter of even number dated 28.10.2022, the pattern of examination for 70% Selection for promotion to Group ‘B’ post of AFA in Accounts Department is modified as under:

a) One paper on Professional Subject including optional questions of 10 marks on Official language policy & Rules100 Marks
b) Qualifying marks60 Marks with reservation as per extant rules
c) Duration2 hours

2 Furthermore, the syllabus prescribed vide Board’s letter of even number dated 7.11.2022 for 70% Selection & 30% LDCE in respect of Group ‘B’ post of AFA in Accounts Department stands modified as under:

1) Professional Subjects:

i) General Principles of Govt. Accounting and Audit with Special Reference to Railways
(i) Books and Budget including Traffic Book
ii) Traffic Accounts and Statistics
iv)Establishment
v)General Expenditure
vi)Workshop Accounts
vii)Stores Accounts

2) Management Accounting and Financial Justification for expenditure
